PLASTIC SOLUTIONS FOR THE ENERGY INDUSTRY
Plastic materials for extreme environments, resistant to high temperatures and cryogenic conditions.
The energy sector requires materials that can withstand both high and cryogenic temperatures, offer high mechanical and chemical resistance, and withstand the most extreme environments. Modern premium F10PTFE and F10HPP – High Performance Polymers – grades, such as natural and filled PTFE, modified PTFE, PEEK (natural and filled VICTREX CT™100 and VICTREX CT™200), PCTFE, DuPont™ Vespel®, provide numerous functional benefits that significantly improve existing solutions for the energy industry.
High-temperature resistant plastics
Fluorten continues to invest in research and development and cutting-edge technologies to provide innovative solutions that respond to new technological challenges. With over fifty years of plastics processing expertise, from powder to finished part, our production is able to meet the specific needs of the energy sector.
F10PTFE and F10HPP for high and cryogenic temperatures
The products manufactured are tested to API/6A, NORSOK M-710 and EN ISO 23936-1 (NFE QATARGAS – MCDERMOTT) specifications, which verify the materials’ resistance to the harsh environmental conditions to which they will be exposed. The most common applications in the energy sector can therefore benefit from the weight reduction and high chemical-physical and mechanical properties of F10PTFE and F10HPP, in addition to thermal resistance at both high and cryogenic temperatures.
Solutions for the most demanding industries
Fluorten develops custom-engineered technical components for applications where reliability, precision, and performance are essential requirements.
