PEEK (polyetheretherketone) is a unique engineering semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer with excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties that are retained at high temperatures.

Because of its strength, PEEK is used to make components for demanding applications such as ball bearings, piston parts, pumps, valves, HPLC columns, pressure plates, food and chemical processing components, 3D printer extruders, seals for high-pressure Oil&Gas valves (floating and trunnion), drilling and aerospace components. It is also one of the few plastics compatible with ultra-high vacuum applications and is considered an advanced biomaterial for medical prosthetics. It is increasingly used in spinal fusion devices and reinforcement bars.
