PTFE
PTFE material (polytetrafluoroethylene) is a semi-crystalline fluoropolymer with many unique properties, including exceptionally high thermal stability, chemical resistance, and melting point. In addition, PTFE products have excellent sliding and non-stick properties and excellent electrical resistance.
In order to improve the already exceptional properties, especially when used in demanding applications, PTFE can be reinforced by adding fillers such as: glass fiber, graphite, ceramics, nickel, stainless steel, bronze, MoS2, polyimide, etc.. This makes it possible to improve certain mechanical properties, such as compressive strength, thermal conductivity or the reduction of the tendency to slide under load, to implement items that allow significant improvements both in design and operation.
