F10PTFE seals
The Fluorten Slipper seal is made with a segment in filled F10PTFE, which performs the dynamic action of the seal, and an elastomer ring, usually consisting of an OR, which ensures the persistence of the elastic energy necessary to guarantee the seal is activated over time. In the Slipper sealing concept, advanced F10PTFE formulations with low friction, abrasion and extrusion resistance are used in place of rubber in the dynamic zones.
This significantly increases the overall technical limits of the sealing concept. The high performance polymer Slipper seals are a must for modern designs that meet the primary requirements of cost efficiency in the very small and simple seat of this seal.
F10PTFE Fluor/S calibrated tapes
Fluor/S calibrated tapes from Fluorten, made from special formulations of filled F10PTFE, are used for self-lubricating piston and rod bearings, eliminating metal-to-metal contact and reducing friction and wear. These tapes are supplied in continuous length rolls according to customer requirements and Fluorten standards.
F10PTFE sleeves
Fluorten supplies customers who manufacture fluid power seals with sleeves made from the same filled F10PTFE that it uses in its own production.
