Fluorten provides finished and semi-finished components in DuPont™ Vespel^®, a versatile material that combines the properties of polymers, ceramics and metals, allowing it to be used in extreme conditions in sectors including aerospace, energy, electronics, automotive and industry in general.

DuPont™ Vespel^® components have exceptional wear resistance even without lubrication and can operate at a wide range of temperatures, from cryogenic to +288 °C and, for short periods, as far as +482 °C.
